A celeb-sighting controversy has engulfed Defamer HQ, where our careful vetting of your PrivacyWatch tips has yielded an international hunky-vampire crisis. After the jump, help us settle Robert Pattinson’s whereabouts once and for all.
One of you claims to have seen Pattinson carousing yesterday in Los Feliz, where “EVERYBODY within 100 feet recognised him.” But a London-based reader (whose e-mail at 11 p.m. local time, it should be noted, represents a bracing wake-up call for her clock-watching L.A. counterparts — you know who you are) now sends this rebuke:
I saw someone said they saw Rob in LA on the 8th. I believe they were mistaking [sic] because My friends and I saw Rob in London a couple of hours ago. He was in Covent Garden with his buddies, wearing his normal plaid shirt and black beanie. No one bothered him, to be honest, I don’t think most people even realised it WAS him.
Logic might suggest an explanation as simple as, say, overnight air travel. Too convenient! In lieu of easy answers we send this Dueling PrivacyWatch Trial of the Century to you, the jury. Find Robert Pattinson.

My friend and I were in Hollywood yesterday around 5pm (California time) and we saw Robert jaywalking. He was coming out of the same car that I’ve seen him driving in a papparazzi video from a few weeks ago.
It is possible that it wasn’t him, but my friend and I are both 98% sure. The windows were down, I was driving at about 20mph and we saw him close and we both said “OMG” at the same time. Same face and body build; wearing jeans, plain white tee and the black beanie.
this is probably highly amusing because I’m going to be honest and say I dont know if it’s one hundered percent fact and to be honest it didnt really make sense to me but it’s relevent to this.
But right now, in Vermont, there’s a thing called the Dew Tour going on (i dont know if anyone knows what that is) and it’s taking place at Mt. Snow here. And a lot of people go including many celebs like Billy Bob Thorton for instance was here, and I heard from one of my friends that she was recently at a bar near by Mt. Snow where Jim Carrey and Robert Pattison were playing some pool.
Highly amusing? I think so
True or not? What he would be doing in Vermont is beyond me so probably not, but it nonetheless made me want to jump in my car and drive all the way to Mt. Snow just to check.

Considering that Rob flew to London right before the holidays and no papparazzi have photographed him returning to LAX or anywhere in LA, I will guess he is still in London. Especially since he was spotted in his beanie and plaid jacket.

Wow i feel so bad for the poor guy. I was looking at an article and saw something about privacywatch and clicked on it. Lord beholds its another site trying to track him down. I know it’s peoples job to walk around with cameras and microphones and what not, but someone out there must have some sense of respect? Yeah, right. I doubt it. Ppl should just give rob a break. I telling you I think the government should make a law where no paparazzi can work like 2 days out of the week or something, for the sanity of the ppl/celebs being chased around. But the worst part is when they said FIND robert pattinson. Thats bad lol. Hell im 19, i think id go crazy with all that attention never the less a 22 yr old.
I think it’s absolutely hilarious that Rob seems to be globe trotting all over the globe at apparently the same time. He’s not omnipotent people! Lol!!! It’s physically impossible. I say we just leave him to his peace and quiet. Especially after all the Twilight mayhem he had encountered last year. He deserves it poor baby!

i think you should quit all this shit its not fair on all celebrities you can tell he is shy and whats everything to go back to normal duh. i know i love him too he is a fantastic singer and actor but he is just the same as everyone else he deserves a little privacy
