Mercedes Corby Was Paid HOW MUCH To Strip Off?
When photos first emerged of Mercedes Corby’s spread (so to speak) for lads magazine Ralph, Defamer Australia decided to focus mostly on the pre-photo shoot wisdom of sister Schapelle. I do hope you’re all remembering to spend some time each morning standing in front of the mirror and repeating the inspiring mantra “Get a tan! Just be confident!” over and over until you’re sufficiently pumped for the day, by they way.
But now, albeit reluctantly, I must actually focus on the Mercedes part of the whole story, because the Daily Telegraph have reported how much she was paid to strip off. While some might cruelly suggest Mercedes looked more like one of People magazine’s Home Girls and therefore her time as a glamour model probably warranted a payment of $50 and a meat pie, the folks at Ralph would be forced to disagree with you…

Mercedes Corby was paid well for her December Ralph magazine bikini cover shoot. Sources claim she made $50,000 for the eight-page spread. It was a big year for Corby who also had a windfall from Channel 7 in her successful defamation action.
I mean, really. Who knew being the sister of a convicted drug trafficker could be so lucrative? It really hammers home for me the disappointment I felt when my own sister bothered to check her boogie board case before catching a flight home to London via Bangkok and somehow stumbled across the 4.2 kilograms of marijuana I’d stored in there.

Where do they get the $50K figure from? Speculation? Oh, yeah… it’s the “anonymous sources”. The Daily Telegraph is tabloid gutter trash.
Melissa, $50,000 sounds about the right amount of money for being made a total fool of in a national “gutter trash” mag.
Why is the amount she was paid an issue? Come to think of it, why was she labeled as – the sister of a convicted drug criminal, and this used as a selling point? Others have appeared on the pages of Ralph after a brief brush with fame on Big Brother..Mercedes Corby beat channel seven in a case against deformation, which was broadcast as breaking news about her lifestyle & personal choices. Mercedes Corby has not been convicted of anything – Ever. If a byproduct of her families misery over the past 4 years or so is that she got the opportunity to do this, then I say Congratulations to her. The heartache must have been devastating to them all. Good on you, Mercedes.. you deserve some happiness & success after all you’ve been through.
