When will the haters just back off and give Michael Clarke and Lara Bingle some goddamn space to they can pursue their quiet and in no way media-whorey romance with a modicum of privacy?

Glamour couple Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke have brushed aside rumours that their fairytale romance has hit the rocks. Bingle was photographed leaving a business in Sydney on Tuesday afternoon not wearing her sizeable engagement ring and hiding her face.

And if there’s one thing we can count on for sure in this crazy world, it’s that the shouty excitable showbiz correspondents on breakfast television won’t ever let something like a celebrity being photographed without their sizable engagement ring slip by without making a big deal out of it.

Today’s gossip guru Richard Reid reported yesterday the pictures of Bingle, that have been snapped up by a woman’s magazine, proved there was trouble in paradise for the couple.

“This is her the other day coming out of couple’s counselling – no ring, obviously distraught,” Reid hysterically squawked.

I love the way this story has been written up. Hysterically squawked? I can hear it now! Dude, your gossip is flaming etc!

Anyway, the couple weren’t even having counselling. Counselling is for idiots who don’t land on the cover of lady magazines on a regular basis! They were having a threeway with a sex therapist. Wait, that’s not right! But there was certainly some touching involved.

Far from seeing a counsellor, Bingle and Clarke had been together at massage therapist in the Sydney suburb of Pyrmont, getting a dual massage. Their treatments lasted an hour and they where asked to take their jewelry off during the massage. They regularly have treatments at the business.

Dual massages with your lover… now if that’s not The Life™ people speak of when they sigh happily and say “Ahhh, this is The Life™”, then I don’t know what is.
