Australian Open Referees Will Ensure Female Players Behave Like Ladies, Not Skanky Hoes
Listen, female tennis players who played at the Hopman Cup. You may think you’re helping your career by wearing skimpy skirts and see through shirts when bashing a ball back and forth over a net for an interminable number of hours, but you’re wrong.
You’re disgracing your reputations, you’re bringing the wonderful game of tennis into disrepute, and all the lads magazine attention won’t make up for the fact that you’ve cheapened yourselves. What would your granny, god rest her soul, say if she saw what you’d been bouncing around the court in? She’s probably rolling over in her grave as we speak!
Thankfully there’s no chance of you getting away with similarly slatternly behaviour at the Australian Open.
Australian Open referees will double as fashion police to stamp out skimpy outfits at the Melbourne event.
Open officials have threatened fines of up to $2000 for any player caught flouting its strict dress code after French player Alize Cornet caused a stir at the Hopman Cup last week. The teenager wore a short skirt and revealing, see-through top during a doubles match at the tournament in Perth, The Sunday Herald Sun reports.

Damn, girl! Who can we blame for this? Miley Cyrus? God help us, this culture of upskirting is corrupting our rising sports stars!
One of game’s great players, Margaret Court, condemned her attire last night, saying it pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable.
Margaret Court is the June Dally-Watkins of tennis: discuss.
Her rant continues -
Court, Australia’s greatest female player, said the revealing outfits of today’s female players made them “look like they should be on the beach”.
“I just don’t think the tennis court is the place to be everything clingy and showing everything,” she said. “Women don’t need to expose themselves so much,” she said. “You’re good at something, you do it well, you can look so nice without needing to reveal everything. If they think everybody’s looking at their body and they’ve got see-through and no bra (outfits), it would have to affect your game.”
And who’d marry the cow if he can get the milk for free by tuning in to Channel Seven’s coverage of the Australian Open, etc?

soooooo wrong this article is biased and very one sided
Wow, same lame arguments used by fear-based males when women in the U.S. sought suffrage rights. A female or male has the right to dress as he or she feels is appropriate and no amount of bullying and slamming should change that. Our female ancestors are cheering, because they hated the crappy “modest” wear that the males of society inflicted upon them. Seriously, if you are going to make an argument, use your intelligence not weak slams about one’s perceived “slutty-ness.” Huh, why is the male chest acceptable? This is pure fear and a desperate hope of controlling women. Not impressed and not interested…women are free to dress themselves regardless of what old stuffy tennis champs think.
