We make no guarantees as to the authenticity of the blurry Facebook screencaps to land in our inbox this morning, allegedly belonging to sumptuously becoiffed Twilight dreamcake Robert Pattinson, working under the alias “Randle Patrick McMurphy.” (Ring any bells? 10th grade English students? Anyone? Anyone?) In one exchange, he laments the life of a newly minted Hollywood It-pire (”everybody are such tossers. the bottle does me fine. the girls in this town are quite odd, you know…”) and responds to a query of “get Kristen yet?” with a bloodless, cad-like, “you know I did. You’re the one person I’ve told this to but, she wants me more than that twat of a bf that stalks her every move around me.”
It all reads less like the voice of a British matinee idol than how someone might imagine a British matinee idol might talk. In particular, we had a hard time swallowing all the details about his upcoming shooting schedule, the word “tossers,” and—uh—the fact that he’d confide in someone over Facebook that he nailed the teen, taken co-star he’s been rumoured to have romanced. Of course, there’s also the fact that all this comes at the most opportune of moments—as Twilight fades rapidly. All it would take is one deeply twisted special promotions exec with a job on the line to cook up a viral hoax in time to suck the last few drops out of the box office.

Rob Pattinson has already said that he does not have a facebook account.
It is terrible that this strange person is playing with Rob’s fans in that manner.

Unfortunately, it seems as though this may be authentic. The “Ben Coles” the he messaged with is facebook friends with Rob’s close friend Marcus Foster (they co-wrote one of his songs in the film)…
clealy a fake none of these people exist on fb anymore, who ever it is must have had a lot of spare time on their hands to create so many fb accounts . . the mind boggles! plus notice how everthing seems to be from the same few days . . .surely if he was giving away such information on someones wall he would have left some interesting such from a earlier date . . .oh and finally the pics of the 2 way convos he’s suposably had can only be accessed from the person who created the account, and unless Rob has sold this info out himself or the people he is speaking to all sold individualy sold it i declare this to be a FAKE lol

Yeah but i believe the person who created this account has also created a fake “Ben Coles” fb. They must have put some thought in it but the facts are staring us in the face and this has to be a fake, it makes no sense and it doesn’t add up.
I dont think that is it, is a public figure like is going to expose such a thing, it’s something serious to Kristen and her boyfriend, today there are many people who play with the fans :S

Considering the “edit my profile” appearing under the display picture, the screen shots were taken by someone logged in as this “Randle Patrick McMurphy”.
If this really was Robs personal facebook I highly doubt he would sell himself out.

There’s another fake Rob Pattinson on Facebook who has a ton of people fooled. It’s obviously not him. the person can’t even keep his schedule straight, swiped watermarked phoptos from fansites and put up, and can’t spell.
What is wrong with the people who believe these posers? Rob should sue them.

the screen shots are from someone who is logged into his account.
so he either leaked them himself or someone hacked his password and leaked them, either way they are definitly shots from withen his account, in other screen shots it says “conversation with You and whomever”…
wow. the pic kinda looks like his chin, but if you look closely you see a tattoo on his chest. which he doesn’t have!
fake ass losers need to get a better hobby & stop getting the alrdy hyped fans uprored.
Guys, call me crazy but i honestly do believe that this is real.
I know some of the facts suggest otherwise but small things from these screen shots make me believe it. Such as in the about me section under the picture where it says “has been reading 2666 by Roberto Bolano.” From what I know of Rob, mind you i know as much as the next person, he is very much into these intelectual, quirky type novels that noone reads. Another small point that leads me to believe it’s him is the fact that in the second picture he mentions a friend “claude” If you look closely in the third picture it says “Randle… is now friends with.. and claude mcoulin” It seems like there are alot of details that are to minute for someone to think of if it is a fake. Whilst i accept the oposing arguments and hope that it is not actually the good hearted Robert Pattinson we all love, I truely do believe that it is. After all account haking is only to common in this day in age.
