Jessica Rowe Gets Boned Again!
Poor old Jessica Rowe! It’s safe to say that the latest event in her career as a news reader probably won’t get a mention next time she compiles a list of ‘My Best Times’. You see, after a very famous ‘boning’ by Channel Nine, she’s had her (employment) heart broken again – this time by the (boss) lover who swore he’d treat her right, Seven!
Newsreader Jessica Rowe – famously boned by former Nine Network chief Eddie McGuire in 2006 – has been sacked again, this time by the Seven Network.
Rowe, 38, is reportedly angry at Seven’s decision not to renew her contract. A popular evening newsreader at the Ten Network before being poached by Nine to co-anchor the network’s Today show, Rowe was later picked up by Seven.
Yes, I’d imagine “reports” that Jessica Rowe is pissed off about being axed for the second time in as many years are quite accurate.
The “source” continues:
“After all she had been through, she was eager to return to the familiarity of newsreading and for a while there she was popping up everywhere – the afternoon news, morning show panels, even as a newsreader on Sunrise,” a Seven news source told Sydney’s The Daily Telegraph today.
“But what she really wanted was a permanent newsreading gig, and unfortunately for Jess, Seven has a glut of newsreaders all desperate for a key slot, and the executive bosses just don’t have anything for her.”
Seven boss David Leckie confirmed Rowe’s contract had not been renewed, but did not rule out casual newsreading shifts.
Well, she’s done the Ten Network, Channel Nine, and Channel Seven. I guess the real question is, will she hit the ABC now or go straight to SBS?

Since it’s quite clear that Jessica Rowe’s name is now synonymous with the word ‘boned’, I propose she cashes in on the association. Therefore, may I suggest Jessica looks into the following?
· Theatre (Boned: The Musical)
· Fragrances (Boned by Jessica Rowe)
· Etc.

Who the holy fuck invented the term “boned”? It’s the most revolting word they could possibly use.
Jessica rowe would have to be the most under-rated person on t.v. In my opinion and lots of others opinion too, she’s better than all the newsreaders on tv put together.
The woman is joy to watch, so smart, and the light in her eyes is just one of the kind. Her personality on t.v, is just inspirational and full of life. What is wrong with these t.v. executives, are they really using their brains or what? They can’t even do half the job she does and neither can anyone they have. This woman is a jewel.
