So you think that Hugh Jackman has been cleverly hiding his homosexuality by playing a flamboyantly gay man in a musical on Broadway? I suppose all the actors on Queer as Folk are also secretly gay, as well as the actors from Will & Grace. Do you also think Anthony Hopkins is secretly a cannibalistic serial killer? It’s simply too absurd to think that a closeted actor would choose such a role when he knows that ignorant people assume all men on Broadway are gay anyways. Now that I’ve destroyed the “motivation” argument, let’s look at “capability.” If you slept with Hugh Jackman would you keep it a secret?? If he were less famous I could see a “double life” being possible, but long ago he crossed the line where fame makes such secrets too juicy to keep to yourself. It’s pretty obvious that he’s straight and I think he should be commended for being so brave with his career just when his role as Wolverine was setting him up to be just another two dimensinal Hollywood heart-throb. By playing into such ignorant stereotypes about gay men, you are setting gay rights back two decades with your baseless accusations.

I’ve NEVER seen a man try harder to be straight in my entire life. I’ve dated 2 Aussie actors overseas (Not famous sorry), who behaved the exact same way – both gay. It’s masculine, but it’s so forced!
