Rex Hunt Won’t Be Taking Those Cyclist Bashing Charges Lying Down

Back in October, Rex Hunt was charged over an incident where he allegedly physical with a cyclist during a road rage incident in July. He didn’t turn up to a hearing on Friday regarding the charges, but his lawyer has informed the world that Rex plans on fighting them like a 400 pound blue marlin fights the deep sea angler reeling him.


His lawyer Michael Tovey QC indicated to the Melbourne Magistrates Court that Hunt would fight the charges.

“I simply want it to be known this matter will certainly proceed as a contested hearing,” Mr Tovey said.

There will be a contested hearing in mid January.
