Kylie’s Tour Of Colombia Marches On…
Despite a recent incident which saw many of staff lose their personal belongings to a sticky fingered unsavoury type in Bogota, Kylie’s tour of Colombia is rolling onwards. Inspirational!
Melbourne, Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue’s X tour went on as scheduled even though her staff had their personal belongings stolen over the weekend in Bogota. The items stolen were five computers, various CDs, and passports belonging to members of Minogue’’s entourage, the Courier Mail reported.
The goods were stolen from behind the scenes at Parque Jaime Duque, where the pop singer was due to kick off her X 2008 tour, and while her tour staff were setting up the stage.
What kind of world do we live in when dedicated staffers cannot even step away from their belongings for a minute in order to help set up the stage for a gay icon’s performance, huh?
Relax, friends. We no longer live in that world. The theft occurred before Obama won the US election.
Incidentally, it appears the news site we’re quoting from today had a little bit of trouble distinguishing its Australian pop icons from people who have fronted Rogue Traders.
I suppose this is to be expected when I gather news for you from places with names like “Silver Scorpio”.

Also, I blame my appalling mistake (believe me, I am very familiar with Colombia) with the fact there is something wedged under my ‘B’ key and I was concentrating so much on pushing down hard enough to ensure Columbia didn’t end up sounding like “colomia” (
