Is Killing a Great Series the Answer to Stopping Bad TV?

This is a hard one, and ordinarily I would agree, but there are a few examples of shows that I have loved over many years. If this became the rule, I would not have enjoyed six seasons of The Sopranos, the best moments of Six Feet Under would never have been seen/filmed/written, and Buffy would never have hit its straps either. I WAS a HUGE X Phile, but have since realised that it probably should have ended after season three. I think Heroes jumped the shark after season one, and though I haven’t seen the new series yet, early reports are that Weeds has gone the same way in season 4, (shame if it’s true). Oh and what about Seinfeld. Thank god for re runs of Seinfeld, ESPECIALLY the latter seasons. I also love 30 Rock and would not want it to end yet. Could do without LOST though. :)
