Katy Perry Continues To Irritate Beyond Belief
I’m not sure if I got the message across properly yesterday (I was trying to be subtle) but I really, really don’t like Katy Perry. I don’t enjoy her music in the slightest – ‘I Kissed A Girl’ is only tolerable if you change the lyrics to ‘I Fist A Girl’, and even then you’re pushing it – but most of all, I just think that the gospel singer-turned-faux-lesbian singer is incredibly annoying.
And she’s not going away! At least Sandi Thom had the good sense to nick off back to her apartment in Tooting after inflicting ‘I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)’ upon the world. Katy Perry has released two – two – horrible singles that I know of, and she’s probably got more up her sleeve!
The photo to your left? That’s her KISSING A GIRL!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! The woman copping Perry’s completely sexless pash is former host of The View The Catch Up Zoe Sheridan. Isn’t that the least erotic smooch you’ve ever seen?
“We were just taking photos and she said ‘Let me kiss you in this one’,” Sheridan giggled on Nova radio yesterday.
Well, knock me down with a strap on if that doesn’t sound like Katy Perry suggesting lady-action for other people’s titillation! That picture pretty much sums up for me the complete lack of charm and appeal of Perry and her heinous “anthem”.
Oh look! She’s said something irritating recently!
“I have always loved dressing up and honestly, I’m copying those classic pin-up girls. I’m copying Dita Von Teese sometimes, of course,” she said. But she won’t be copying the “boring Disney girls” who compete for her chart and airwaves space.
Perry said she enjoys being a strong, outspoken female artist and said the controversy over her bi-curious anthemic single was overdone.
Woo! Unlike those boring Disney girls, you like, totally stick it to the man! By trying to arouse him! And as for being a strong, outspoken female artist… puh-lease. I can’t even continue. In the meantime, here are two videos which really hammer home for me the fact that Katy Perry is the most annoying person on earth.
That second clip makes me feel COMPLETELY PUNCHY. Maybe I need a drink.

She’s just a young girl that’s a bit excitable and is posting video blogs for her fans.
Her music is catchy so there is nothing wrong there.
you must just feel insecure because she is more beautiful than you and has achieved more with her life than you.Though I suppose though that if anyone saw you kiss a girl they wouldn’t care.

I wrote my own blog on her a while ago now, she is just the example of rediculousness.
I actually disagree (which is rare for me to do with defamer). I do agree in the sense that I Kissed A Girl is an annoying pseudo-gay novelty song. In her defense, Hot n Cold is infectiously catchy, she’s amazing live (yeah, some ‘artists’ CAN sing!) and she comes across as a gorgeous character! I think she’ll disappear in two years though.
I’m so glad I don’t listen to the radio much any more. Listening to the chorus of this song on the ad for Rove and those stupid ring tone ads is more than enough for me. I’m quite sure I’d find her vile.
We over here in Britain have had to endure a string of failed singles by Sandi Thom and her inane witterings in the Scottish press every time she writes something on her blog. so think yourself lucky, the woman is on something like her 5th single and second album altho only that dreadful “Punk rocker” single has really done anything..she wont give up! she must be stopped and any help you can give for us suffering music fans would be much appreciated.
