The critics can eat my poo. I liked the first episode. I even laughed. Out loud, no less. It's not as bad as everyone says it is. Obviously it's never going to be as good as ours but it does what it's supposed to do - entertain. It just seems like everyone wants to hate on it because it’s cool to. Regardless of what you think of it, I think we should all remember that Gina Riley and Jane Turner are executive producers and over-saw the production of the whole thing, so if you want to blame someone, blame them. Ouch! I’m guessing two things: The humour and tone of the show does not translate at all or they have changed it around so much to “Americanize” it that they have forgot to make the characters ones that you want to actually watch.
