The Veronicas To Join The Celebreality Machine

The-Veronicas-Hook-Me-Up.jpgNow that the whole “Veronicas porn storm” has cleared and moved towards northern New South Wales, bringing with it some light showers easing to an afternoon sea breeze (sorry), the twins are back on the work horse and look set to sign away their private time in exchange for the sweet, sweet exposure (read: horrible, horrible intrusion) of their own reality television series, which would detail their time in the US pop market.

“We’re looking into doing a reality show on a big network,” pop twin Jess Origliasso told music writer Cameron Adams from Los Angeles yesterday.

“It’d be about our life. We document everything we do anyway. We often have camera crews on us on tour.

“You’ve got to have so many avenues to get your music out there in America. It’s not like Australia, Australia embraces new music. It’s not just about music over here. It’s about personality and celebrity.

“It’s craziness over here.”

Can we make “It’s craziness over here” the new catch-phrase du jour? I know it’s not as instantly memorable as, say, “Game on, molls” or “That’s hot”, but surely we need something new for the annoying person in accounts to yell out? Particularly if it ends up being adopted by foreign correspondents.

Kerry O’Brien: “How is everything in Palestine, George?”
George Negus: “IT’S CRAZINESS OVER HERE!!!”
Kerry O’Brien: “…”

Don’t worry, we’ll thank you in our speech when we win the Most Outstanding News Coverage Logie next year.
