Spirited Fans Move to Death-Threat and Hate-Mail Phase of ‘Harry Potter’ Fever
We don’t traffic in empathy much around here — especially for studio heads — but you can’t help but feel a bit sorry for Alan Horn these days, who has been reduced to peering under his car in a paranoid state before each trip to and from the Warners lot, searching for some Harry Potter fan’s homemade peat-moss explosive affixed to his gas tank with frog spit and the hovering air of revenge. Surely he knew what he was getting into when he pushed Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from this November to July 2009 (he’s already apologized), but still, no one deserves to live under the type of shrieking death-threat duress graphically laid out by The Wall Street Journal:

They deserve it!!! Boicot the WB!!! do not buy anything from the WB!!! don’t go to premiers of them until july 2009, stop spending money on them, they don’t need it, thats why they delay the movie right?, THEY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY!!!
Well, yeah, all we hate him (or them, the Warner Bros. people), but I think it’s overacted that this people is so angry that are able to do such things to them. It’s just not civilized…

And yes they deseve this and more, what do they want to say to us?? only that they don’t care about our feelings, about the long damn time we waiting for the movie, that’s all, it is good enough…another eleven months to wait!!! WHTFCK!!

Warner brothers have totally underestimated Harry potter fans!! We have been counting down the days untill the release of The Half Blood Prince. The fans are the ones who made Harry Potter the icon he is, long before WB got involved. Who do they think they are holding THBP hostage?? Keep signing petitions, sending emails and howlers. Boycott anything WB puts out. They won’t be getting any more of my money!!

Keep signing petitions, sending howlers, and emails. Boycott!!!!!! eveything that is Warner Brothers, (except for Harry Potter).If we stand together, we can make a difference!! The fans have made Harry Potter the icon that he is, long before WBs became involved. Do not give in!!
we have over 47500 signatures at petitionspot protesting the delay and growing more every day. Boycott all Warner Brothers movies and merchandise untill they change the date back!! To delay it a month or two is one thing but an additional 8 months is insane. And Harry Potter fans will not stand for it. They are going to lose far more money by the delay. Harry Potter fans are fiercely loyal!!
