Game Off, Moles: Charlotte Dawson NOT Taking ‘Model’ Gig
Well, as Jeanette said to John on their wedding night, that was fast and disappointing: Charlotte Dawson, it seems, will not be taking over the Australia’s Next Top Model hosting gig left vacated by Jodhi Meares, as it seemed only yesterday she would be. Instead, Dawson will be focusing her attention on an as-yet untitled variety show on Foxtel:
While Dawson told Confidential she was happy to stay playing the “forthright judge to the mothering host”, she revealed she’s saving her strike power for the variety-style show Walsh had pencilled in for her as a reward for saving the day when Meares was a no-show on the Top Model finale.
“It’s such an exciting project and perfect for me, so I’m happy to keep my role as it is (on ANTM) and concentrate on that,” she said.
Boo! Thoughts at Foxtel HQ now turn to other possible hosts, and with – as that article notes – Kristy Hinze already tied up with Project Runway, the field is narrowed. Elle MacPherson wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole, all our current actual top models have a combined age of approximately 28, and that leaves… how about the Price Is Right girls?

They just need to get it over and fucking done with and make Tyra do a year. That woman is batshit crazy and would make for hilarious Aussie television, you cannot deny this.
The Aust girls would not cope with a bit of Tyra loving. She would tear them limb from limb. It would make great TV. Imagine Tyra giving Demelza the no bullying lecture now that would be hilarious.
