If you read what Michael said you will pick up a possible miscommunication "A movie OF the series" this could mean theres no need for him to make a movie of what we have already seen, and can see again because we "Can get the three seasons on DVD". Michael Cera will be in the movie, MICHAEL CERA WILL BE IN THE MOVIE!

If a strange twist of fate means he can't be in the movie then make it anyway, the fans need it.

I find it difficult to believe that Michael Cera really means this. He has expressed interest in doing an AD reunion before, and if Mitch Hurwitz has a great idea for a story (which Jason Bateman says he DOES), I can’t imagine that Cera wouldn’t want to get back together with the rest of the Bluth clan for an outing on the big screen.

I have to believe that this was some kind of dry joke that was taken seriously by an unsuspecting reporter. Perhaps this was the “Michael Cera” who threw a tantrum on the set of “Knocked Up” and was replaced, and not the real Michael Cera who everyone likes and who shows up in cameos on “Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job” and “Derek & Simon.” THAT Michael Cera knows comedy, and knows the importance of Arrested Development in the scheme of modern day comedy– he knows that when the show ended on the lines “Maybe a MOVIE” it wasn’t just a throwaway joke– it was one of the show’s patented “call-forwards”….

Of course, maybe he’s already heard bad news and he’s just trying to rationalize the pain of knowing it isn’t going to happen. But GOD, I hope not. There is nothing I’d like more than to see an AD movie actually happen….

Don’t veto this Michael Cera! This was the show of the decade and I’m confident this could be the comedy film of the decade. You’re doing so well, but wouldn’t it be great to have maybe one more Mitch Hurwitz script to act through? Don’t let us down!

Please don't veto this movie Michal Cera - this could be the greatest comedy for years and the show deserves it. The fans don't want a movie? I can't believe you believe that.
This show is massive nowadays. I reckon it will make a ton of money, but more importantly it will cement AD's reputation as the best comedy to come from America in years.
Make it happen!
