Does Anyone Else Remember This Song?

I fell in love with it nearly a decade ago, never knew what it was called (but recalled that the band started with an ‘O’), and haven’t heard it since. Until today!

Here is Oscarlima with ‘If You Wanna Be My Friend’ on Hey Hey It’s Saturday.

    Yeah! I was rummaging through a CD collection at work (a regional radio station) and found the Oscar Lima EP; the name rang a bell so I played it. Cracker song with a killer bridge, especially love the xylophone break in the mid section. Good to hear someone else likes it too. Love your work JM

    Actually, Oscarlima are playing the Northcote Town Hall next Friday Sept 19 as part of the Rubber Records reunion concert…another great Oz band, Even, will be playing as well…

    I saw these guys play this song at Adelaide Uni about 8 years ago. The reason I remember is because a guy came out on stage dressed as a dog, played the xylophone bit, then walked off! We were pissing ourselves.
