We Just Can't Get Enough Of Lindsay Lohan Defending The Woman She Loves On MySpace!

Australian Post Posted by Jess McGuire at 8:23 AM on August 29, 2008

Oh my LORD. I know deep inside my soul that I shouldn't be nearly as gripped by Lindsay Lohan's personal life as I am, but when celebrities turn to their MySpazz blogs to get things off their chest, they capture my attention and I'm rendered helpless by their poorly spelled charm (see also Allen, L and Love, C).

And so, after reading our American cousin's take on "bad dads", I found myself on Lindsay Lohan's MySpace page this morning reading a rant against her father Michael. US Defamer quoted a bit of Lindsay's outburst, but just in case you didn't bother checking out Lindsay's blog entry in its entirety, I thought I should point out this rather adorable excerpt.

It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).

A girl that means the world to me - that actually made me "awww" out loud. Am I becoming soft in my old age? Does someone need to send me a box set of The L Word so I can get my fix of Sapphic melodrama without ever having to log into MySpazz? I just don't know anymore.

Sure, it's not quite Lindsay kicking open the closet doors, but it's also not as though she's edging her way out subtly either. It's almost as though there never was a closet, but rather a nice chest... of drawers. Which just needed to be filled with a garment of love, no matter which sex the sweatshop which produced said garments happened to be.

Something isn't right in my head today and when it comes to deftly illustrating my points with word pictures, I'm failing miserably, so I apologise for what you just read. It doesn't matter what I think anyway. Lindsay'll be hitched to her hot wheels of steel-spinning bitch before we know it, and to that - I say Mazel Tov!
