The Young And The Breastless: Even The Bass Copped It From Bullies Whilst Growing Up

TOTALLYADDICTED.jpgBeautiful, talented, and not-at-all-frightening television presenter (and pop star and actress) Natalie 'The Bass' Bassingthwaighte has confessed she was tormented by hideous bullies during her younger years!

The So You Think You Can Dance host clearly remembers being bullied at school and called names such as, "liquorice legs" and, "the young and the breastless".

"It made me feel really insecure and question who I was," she said.

"Could it be? That I am actually made of liquorice?"

"I was never physically bullied but verbally bullied by other kids at school."

Earlier this year Bassingthwaighte released a book Sistahood: A Journey Of Self Discovery which she co-authored with her younger sister Nicky Moore. She said they wrote it in the hope it would help girls stand up for themselves in the face of bullying.

Ah yes, I remember that book.

Bassingthwaighte said she wanted to help girls become strong and confident.

Good for you, The Bass! I do hope you come back from LA to host next year's season of So You Think You Can Dance. It just wouldn't be the same without your hysterical presentation skills, and we love you!

Wait, so her legs were black and kind of twisty once?
