Scientology a Prime Suspect in Gossip Columnist’s Isaac Hayes Postmortem
After getting through a remarkably quiet week without a single controversy or racketeering lawsuit, the Church of Scientology was dealt another bruising body blow with Isaac Hayes’s death over the weekend. As much as the Church is expected to miss the singer/songwriter’s hot buttered soul and totemic cultural presence, Hayes’s “friend” and generally unreliable Fox source Roger Friedman notes in today’s touching eulogy how the Church wrung every last cent from subpar live performances after his 2006 stroke.
And seeing as such allegations clearly wouldn’t be insidious enough to defend his late pal’s honour, Friedman stops a gold chain link short of blaming the Church outright for Hayes’s death:
There are a lot of questions still to be raised about Isaac Hayes’ death. Why, for example, was a stroke survivor on a treadmill by himself? What was his condition? What kind of treatment had he had since the stroke? Members of Scientology are required to sign a form promising they will never seek psychiatric or mental assistance. But stroke rehabilitation involves the help of neurologists and often psychiatrists, not to mention psychotropic drugs — exactly the kind Scientology proselytizes against.
Ugh! Such ugliness — on the night of Celebrity Center’s 39th anniversary gala and everything! And just when the Tomfather was getting ready to go legit, too. These guys can’t win for losing.

I could say Roger Friedman can go to H—, but why bother, we know he is anyway. As for Academy Award and Grammy winner, Mr. Isaac Bad Mutha–shut your mouth! Hayes, well, all I can say is: King of cool. A real Soul Man, before he even wrote the song. Rest In Peace man, your work is done.
Another suspicious death! Having constant financial problems and then strokes Isaac outlived his usefullness and welcome. OT’s are reputed to have powers enabling them to avoid suffering so one can imagine he was proving to be an embarrassment. We shall soon learn more: about the methods he was using to protect his health, and who was with him at the time of his death.
Normally I give the benefit of the doubt but with scientologys culture of lying I assume the worst
You really have to talk to a scientologist about their reasoning for the distrust of psychiatry, their public explanation is completely ignorant of history. Then they point you towards LRH’s “research” which will cost a few hundred dollars just for the basic books and contains no research data whatsoever, since obviously there is none. And this they base their unwavering trust on. The entire medical/philosophical ideals of Hubbard are ripped off from Darwin, yet they discredit him. The duality of Scientologists’ thoughts on everything may prove that they are more intelligent, a normal person would go insane trying to keep up, oh wait, maybe that just indicates insanity not intelligence.
Apart from this, there has been another controversial release regarding Scientology in the UK. Six Scientology officials have been reported to the UK Border Agency for not having appropriate work permits.
There is a Scientology procedure called the “Purification Rundown,” (”Purif”) which involves running some 20-30 minutes (often on a treadmill as seen in numerous pictures used in Scientology promotional materials), then going into a sauna, with regular interludes in cold showers. All of this must be accompanied by massive intake of vitamins, particularly niacin — which is known to be toxic at high dosage, and Scientology requires dosage *way above* the toxic level. The Purif as been repeatedly qualified as dangerous by medical experts.
So the fact that he was found near his still functioning treadmill might be a hint that he was undergoing the dangerous Purif. So I can understand if people asks questions, particularly, the cause of death (niacin at the levels prescribed by Scientology’s Purif can cause liver damage, there are precedents.)
Don’t be so hard on Roger, whose article is well understood by former members. I was a scientologist for many years and suffered because of it’s obsession with hating the medical and mental health industry and enforcing it upon members in it’ subtla and not so subtle ways. People should watch this short video called ‘How Scientology Applies Hypnotic Manipulation’ to get members like Isaac Hayes to do foolish things like not get appropriate medical help and to turn down sound advise because it involves the ‘psychs’ and those who support the use of any medication.

It’s way too early to determine whether any Scientology crime syndicate ringleader ordered Hayes to not seek proper medical treatment or whether Hayes was actually following qualified medical doctor’s orders. It’s _likely_ that the Scientology crime bosses ordered him to not seek treatment in the aftermath of the stroke however I would expect that we will shortly all find out that he was probably getting legitimate, qualified medical help as well as subjecting himself to Scientology’s fraudulent quack medical notions.
Of far greater worry is that the Scientology crime syndicate may have been named as heir to Hayes’ estate. It wouldn’t surprise me that a sinister organized crime syndicate like Scientology had brainwashed Hayes to the point where he signed over whatever megear remaining estgate that the crime syndicate didn’t already get their hands on in the event of his death.
You can be sure that heterosexual Tom Cruise has made arangements for much of his remaining wealth to get dumped in to crime boss David Miscaviage’s bank accounts on the event of his death — that seems to me to be the likely level of insane cultism and stupidity that rubes, marks, and suckers like heterosexual Tom Cruise falls for, after all.
So far as Hayes was concerned, his career was in the toilet any way. He was a has-been that couldn’t afford to be rooked and swindled by Scientology, not like heterosexual Tom Cruise can be despite Cruise’s career also sliding into the toilet.
Hayes won’t be missed. He committed crimes against society every time he opened his yap and tried to sell Scientology to unsuspecting victims. When he tried to sell Scientology’s quack “drug treatment” scam Scientology calls “NarCONon,” he was committing bunko scam against us, and for that I hope he burns in Hell.
I see that someone else mentioned Scientology’s quack medical scam “Purification Rundown.” That’s part of Scientology’s “NarCONon” frauds the insane crime syndicate sells as a fake “druig treatment” scam.
Details about Scientology’s insane and dangerous (and far too often deadly) “Purification Rundown” can be found at http://www.crackpots.org/ and, of course, on WikiPedia and general Google.
If Hayes was being forced to undergo sauna exposures in addition to treadmill running, yep, he was killed by Scientology, absolutely.
If Scientology hadn’t twisted the truth of his departure from South Park then people wouldn’t make such assumptions towards an involvement in his death.
The Scientology episode (Trapped In The Closet) aired in November 2005. Issac Hayes went to Matt Stone to inform him that Scientology was pressuring him to quit because of the episode.
Issac Hayes had a stroke in January 2006. He literally could not speak or communicate for the rest of that year. Matt Stone said Hayes was on leave from the show because of “health problems”.
Yet he “resigned in anger” on March 2006, 4 months after the episode aired ? He gave press releases detailing his anger with South Park’s religious insensitivity 4 months after the fact ?
Much like most of Scientology’s history … the facts don’t add up.
I will miss him, despite him being involved with a ‘fruity little club’. I hope that the authorities are properly suspicious enough to have an autopsy and a formal inquiry into his death. If the puriff did kill him then the fda should be allowed to shut CO$ down
Poor Issac, another victim of hubbard’s insane rants about the psychosomstic and illnesses stemming from either this life, or from overts/withholds from previous lives.
What a targic loss to the field of music and the arts. To die at age 65 is a travesty.
I await the day this so-called ‘religion’ is fully exposed for the dangerous psychopolitical brainwash it truely is.
Rest in Peace Isaac, I hope you don’t spend too much time on those ‘forgetter implants’ whilst youre at the ‘between lives implant stations’
