News.com.au Have Been Waiting So Long For AC/DC’s New Album They Forgot The Band’s Name
Briefly in headbanging news, it seems Angus Young has taken time out from drinking milk and painting watercolours in the rolling Dutch meadows to get together with The New Guy and prepare the first AC/DC record in eight years for release. The album, Black Ice, will be out in October – and even though the group are no longer really Australian, it’s good to see that News.com.au can remember how to spell the country’s biggest rock band’s name:

Yeah, man, I fucken love AD/DC! There’s nothing like their hits Jailbroke and Black In Back when you’re cruising down the highway. Anyhow, have a Windshield! Now excuse me, I think I feel a Five X comin’ on.

Scandalous!
For those who have heard “Rock and Roll Train” off “Black Ice” and feel it’s a little lacking in spark, check out “Women, Whiskey & Rock’n'Roll” by Don Coleman who recorded the song to celebrate the life and spirit of Bon Scott. I really hope that AC/DC get Don to open for them when they tour on Canada’s East Coast as it would be a real TNT concert. Check out the song at acdc.com/fromtheband (search celebrating the life… OR at – myspace.com/doncoleman OR on YouTube (search Don Coleman).
