Delta Goodrem's take-no-prisoners assault on the US continues as she rapes and pillages Duluth, leaving only smoking shells of buildings and the charred bodies of dead infants gears up to appear on The Late Show With David Letterman, which her label no doubt hopes will introduce her to the audience she has been so desperately trying to court (night-owls and shift workers, natch). And how is our very own postmodern mermaid feeling about her talkshow debut? Bless her nylon sockettes, the little thing is nervous!
"I haven't been on Letterman before, so I am looking forward to it. But it turns my stomach a bit, to be honest," she told Confidential.
"I get butterflies when I think about it. But it should be fun." Lord. Delta Goodrem there, queen of the scintillating quote. Actually, just the other day I was thinking that what Delts needs is a role written for her, a cameo in some dirty comedy where she can play a goth stoner or a tattooed dog trainer or something. She really needs to boot that whole "What, me?" thing she has going. Perhaps Potato can take her on one of his homophobic day trips?

Just say here on Letterman, I guess she was very nervous as she murdered here current hit, It was like she was trying to do an accent or something.

Never heard of her before, just saw her on Letterman and had to google. She was FANTASTIC. Great voice, but quirky. Good lyrics, heartfelt and a little weird. I loved her and am off to download some me some DG.
