AC/DC Fans “Leak” New Song, Unwittingly Create YouTube Genius

Acca.jpgAs mentioned yesterday, the first AC/DC studio album in eight years is due for release in the next few months, so naturally a bunch of songs from the record have leaked (it’s just not a hotly-anticipated release if you can’t listen to crappy 64kbps snippets of the hit single online!) - but what makes this leak different from all the others is that the eager Acca fans have inadvertently created one of the most brilliant pieces of YouTubery since the last brilliant piece of YouTubery we claimed was the best ever. Because the songs themselves haven’t actually been leaked, per se. In short: the fans attended the music video shoot, heard the song, remembered how it went, and then rushed home to their guitars, webcams and, in the case of this champion, their best Brian Johnston dress-ups, and “leaked” the song, second-hand. Are you ready to rock?! Prepare for total domination as “Brian Johnson himself” performs Rock ‘N’ Roll Train in his bedroom:

“AceFrehley140986″ for approximately the next 17 minutes, you are the ruler of the universe.

Oh, but what’s that, you want more? Witness the endearing Glasgow brogue of “Nacho1888″:

Original version:

“Corrected” riff version:

I hope they never release the real thing, just so we can all continue to revel in the brilliance of AC/DC fans everywhere.

I definitely viewed the youtube ‘performance’ as a joke. I could do a Simon Cowell and trash the video but I’m sure there will be lots of other true AC/DC fans who would rather the real deal.

    Hello, im steven the glaswegian

Glad you enjoyed the ‘leak’ haha

Just wanted to clear up that my video is the ONLY leak on youtube right now. Ace aka Brian Johnson created his FANTASTIC version of the song simply based on what I had air guitared in the first of my videos, he was not at the shoot and has never heard the song - that makes it MORE impressive in my opinion ( you will hear he has put my backing vocals on it ). But just wanted to clear up that his version is close to the real version but not correct - my corrected version is the only true representation of what the song will be like.

    Thanks :D
