It's not often I say this, but I think Elizabeth is right on this one. I would have said it differently, I think... certainly I would have attacked the weaknesses in Whoopi's "This is the way it is, stop arguing!" statement, but ultimately I agree with Hasselbeck.

I do agree with Elisabeth in theory, but her insistence on getting into a philosophical discussion with the brain trust that is Sherry and Whoopi leads me to question her mental health. Just to edit a statement I made above, what I ment to say was 15 years ago t.v was mostly whites not blacks. Now its about the same. Whites have excepted the black race. We really don't care what color you are. I feel blacks are the racist ones. Why hold us responsible for slavery for gods sake we wernt even here! If you get called the N word its because we as humans look for a certain word to call someone when they make us angry. I once had a black call me a white bitch. Ok why did she have to point out that I was white. "Bitch" was ment to hurt me, "white" was her pointing out the reason she didn't like me. If I wanted to hurt a black person and she was fat I may call her a fat ass. Why because I knew that would make her mad. My point is if blacks didn't cry about the word so much then they wouldn't get called it. Its called name calling people it doesn't mean slavery has returned.
