Eh, even she admitted she was a disaster last year - I wasn't surprised she opted out. And I doubt Demelza needed the extra vote.

But only last year's finale was live; the previous two (and all American ones, as noted above) haven't been. And watching the Final Two on catwalks from the front row is pretty much all Tyra and her crew do as well, in terms of season-ending glitz and spectacle.

She should've just embraced the fact we all know she's shit at the presenting part - but if she doesn't even need to shill for Tigerlily, I wouldn't be surprised to see her replaced with a different model, either.

one of the many problems of the world today is that we have this incredibly mind numbing, but dangerous shows such as this. What worries me more is the people that watch them.

I don’t believe Jodhi Mears is a strong host for Australia’s Next Top Model! Tyra Banks provides the American equivalent with an edge in that she is a role model for the competitors. Jodhi often is seen in my eyes as someone who is not confident, who does not hold command with the models or the audience. Terms such as, “honey” and “sweetheart” are used ad nauseum! Having the Australian vote as the decider brought the show to a lower level: what is the point of having experienced judges the whole way through whose opinions are tossed aside for the popular vote. Clean up, smarten up and give us a show a show that is classy and sassy!

Actually, America's Next Top Model isn't a live finale, it's just in the same little judging room with Miss Tyra. God forbid she'd want the public to have a say in who she wants to be America's Next Top Model...
