Remember how Jake Wall and Jennifer Hawkins were baffled and slightly amused to hear the Tele announce that Jake had apparently been macking with a socialite that no one had ever heard of, especially Jake?

Well, what a surprise to see that Ali Langworthy has posed for a nice, shiny picture and done an interview to clear the air - presumably so we all know who she is, and there'll be no more confusion! Particularly when the invite lists for openings and celebrity parties are being drafted!

Langworthy, 19, says she does not even know Wall and has one message for Hawko. "I'm really sorry Jen, but it wasn't me," she told NEWS.com.au.

 

Langworthy says she was horrified when she received a call from a friend on Sunday morning who wanted to get the inside word on her apparent extracurricular activities with Wall after reports of a tryst emerged in Sydney's Sunday Telegraph.

"I was at home with my family and one of my work friends called and said '...so Jake Wall hey?' and I couldn't believe it!" she said.

"My mum jumped straight in the car to get the paper and when we read it we all just couldn't believe how my name could possibly have come into it. I'm still really shocked."

Langworthy's Facebook wall was inundated with comments from friends also wanting the scoop on the alleged lip lock with Hawkins's other half.

Not the Facebook wall! That's it, this has clearly gone too far!

Anyway, surely a well timed phone call to News.com.au or the Tele would've sufficed? Because correct me if I'm wrong, but banking on some sort of notoriety for NOT being a celebrity bit-on-the-side is probably optimistic bordering on deluded - or have times changed and I didn't notice?

If that's the case, sign me up, tabloids - I didn't shag John Mayer! In fact, I've never even met him! There's your exclusive right there!
