Six months after splitting from his wife Natalie Imbruglia, silverchair frontman Daniel Johns is getting his groove back with one of Australia's top up and coming models.

 

Waifish beauty Louise Van de Vorst, 20, and Johns have been inseparable since meeting two weeks ago, displaying their affection in various restaurants and clubs around Sydney.

Widely touted as the next Gemma Ward due to her wide-eyed "alien chic" appeal, Van de Vorst and the Aussie rocker, 28, spent the long weekend partying at Kings Cross haunts Hugo's and super exclusive venue Shh.

Their connection would appear to be rather intense - with VIP guests at the invitation-only club on Friday night amused to witness the couple disappear into the cloakroom for 20 minutes.

Hmmmm. Celebrities with money and a penchant for partying disappearing into the cloakroom for a while, eh? Yup. I'm sure they were definitely pashing on and not getting up to any other type of mischief.

Van de Vorst is understood to have been introduced to Johns by her former boyfriend, Liam O'Brien, guitarist of Aussie band The Scare and a part-time bartender at Hugo's. According to sources, O'Brien is "pissed off" after being dumped for Johns.

Well, you would be, wouldn't you? No one likes to feel their ex has upgraded to a better model.
