This was a stupid and unfunny post. If you wanted to support what you're writing about, than you'd realize that not everybody with tourettes swears. I have a family member who has tourettes and he doesn't swear at all, and is relegated to slight arm twitches and throat clearing. I have never commented negatively about a Gawker post before but this was just a very lame attempt at being edgy and funny.

@raincoaster: @The Evil Beet: The "LA Gossip Rag" has always cast a pretty wide net in general culture, and Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month struck me as an unusual and interesting subject to address. That's something we've always done, even when Lisanti was here. That said...
@kylo4: You're right. I know the stats, I know the symptoms and I obviously know Tourette sufferers do not choose to be afflicted. This was a line better left uncrossed, and I sincerely apologize to those readers I've offended.
