Whatchu Talkin' Bout, Hurley?
· If you're anything like us, you frequently watch Lost and wonder what in the sam hell is going on. Well, as it turns out, the characters are thinking the very same thing. [/Film]
· On the hunt for a birthday present for that friend of yours who's a real history buff? Look no further. [Custom Ink]
· We're loathe to admit it, but yes, we are a little bit hooked on Rock Of Love 2. For those of you out there who also suffer from the same affliction, this one is for you. Remember in yesterday's episode when Ambre claimed that she was a TV host? Well, here's the evidence. [Radar]
· This has precious little to do with our normal topics of conversation here on Defamer, but your Uncle Grambo's world was slightly rocked this weekend when my all-time favourite female musician wrote about my second favourite rockstar of all-time. Here's Liz Phair on Dean Wareham's new book, Black Postcards. [New York Times]
· Lastly, if you are on the hunt for a great website that covers all things retail related in LA (and, frankly, who isn't?), we would like to suggest that you pay a visit to the recently launched Racked LA. Definitely worth a click. [Racked LA]

@Victor Ward: @dluvvly: They've only been on the island a few months, as every episode is only a day or so in island time. They address this every now and then by referencing how many days they've actually been there.
Yes, I am a huge "LOST" geek.
Barbarella
@dluvvly: They actually had one of the survivors make fun of Hurley for not having lost weight while on the island, so they sort of addressed it. Then there were Dharma food drops with lots of high fat foods. We don't know how or why Dharma is still dropping food, but there you go.
I watch this show too much.

Hahahaha. Amazing how many millions, over several years, still don't recognize a massive HOSE JOB when they see one. P.T. Barnum was right.

My question is, why hasn't Hurley lost any weight in 4 years or whatever it's been on a deserted island with no heavy food?
The Tom Hanks movie did a good job of showing what might happen to someone who went from a hearty American diet to barely existing on scarce, low fat food from the middle of nowhere. He went from fat and puffy to lean and wiry. Hurley would at least drop down to normal size.

@Sweet Panda Love: Seriously! And usually, when they do get some sort of answer, it's a completely cryptic one they don't understand. Instead of further questioning, though, they just give a look like a dog during a tornado siren.
In other news, the word "what" has now lost all meaning for me. Also, I would be interested in some sort of techno remix of that. Also, I would like to be in a polygamous relationship with Matthew Fox and Ian Somerhalder.

Whoa, Uncle Grambo thanks so much for the heads-up on the NyTimes review. Luna was the score to one of the most dramatic periods in my life (so far). I can't wait to read the book.
WGARefugee
QUITE hypnotic. Duh. This is what happens when you don't preview your message, kids.
Sweet Panda Love
That was actually quiet hypnotic.
Although all those inquiries, and it took until a couple episodes ago for someone to finally ask what the fuck the smoke monster is. The response - "I don't know."
WHAT?
