The Bass Is An Author! Is There Anything She's Not Willing To Have A Crack At?

God almighty, we bloody love The Bass. Actress, pop star, slightly manic host, and now author? Believe it, bitches. The Bass wants young girls to start behaving in a lovelier manner towards one another, and in light of recent news stories, the publication of Sistahood: A Journal of Self Discovery couldn't have come at a better time.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte has added author to her growing list of accomplishments. The former Neighbours star has tonight launched her first book Sistahood : A Journal of Self-Discovery at a function at Sydney's Luna Park, attended by hundreds of young girls.

The book has been two years in the writing with her younger sister, Nicky Moore and is aimed at boosting girls' esteem. The book features activities and is filled with pictures of Bassingthwaighte's life with her three sisters.

The 32-year-old said she hoped the book encouraged girls to be nicer to each other.

If anyone can make it happen, it's The Bass.

So what next for our multi-talented object of worship?

The Rogue Traders lead singer and So You Think You Can Dance Australia host promised that she still had a lot more to offer.

"There's always something," she said. "It's probably not the end of this, it's just going to keep going. I just like being creative and I think this is just another outlet to be creative.
