Nicola Girls Aloud’s Makeup Range: No Darkies Allowed!
Hold your horses, politically correct types! Naturally, when we say “darkies”, we mean “nothing darker than unbleached toilet paper or quartz sand”.
Yes, Nicola, Girls Aloud’s pale and fragile member (not the first time her milky-white limbs have made news, either), has branched out into the wonderful world of celebrity “product” and has launched a range of makeup specifically for lasses with paler complexions.
As part of an ITV challenge, Nicola apparently realised a “life-long dream” by launching the range of sun-sensible slap.
She said: “For years I felt like the ugly one in Girls Aloud. I was tall, skinny, with red hair and the whitest skin you’ve ever seen – standing next to to four of the most gorgeous girls in Britain.
“I was the ugly one, the odd one out.She added: “People on radio and TV started making nasty comments about me and I felt awful.”
But now, with her dream realised she said: “Hopefully I can help a lot of girls out there to look their best.”
Wow, Nicola, er, they seem like totally sound reasons to launch a range of makeup! Don’t you reckon she sounds totally secure in her paleness? We can’t wait to see how they push the range.

I say good on you girl. as a ridiculously pale person myself, I have never bought foundation because I can never find a light enough shade. It’s disheartening, and really puts you off wanting to buy make up. I know the majority of the population is more tanned, but someone needs to stand up for the minority!
