Aria Experienced: Weekly Singles Round-Up

sargent0707bandstand_r.jpgLast week some fellow called Flo Rida was making his mother proud at the #1 spot, Axle Whitehead showed the people his knob tunes, and Brian “Potato” McFadden was beginning to bother the pointy end of the singles charts. Who will reign supreme over the children with disposable income this week?

Read on to find out in Defamer Australia’s weekly singles charts round-up!

*1 BUBBLY Colbie Caillat
2 LOW Flo Rida Feat. T-Pain
*3 SWEET ABOUT ME Gabriella Cilmi
4 DON’T STOP THE MUSIC Rihanna
5 TATTOO Jordin Sparks
6 WORK Kelly Rowland
7 WITH YOU Chris Brown
8 BLEEDING LOVE Leona Lewis
9 CRANK THAT Soulja Boy
10 PICTURES OF YOU The Last Goodnight
*11 DREAM CATCH ME Newton Faulkner
12 NAUGHTY GIRL Mr G
*13 BEAT IT Fall Out Boy Feat. John Mayer
*14 YOU WILL ONLY BREAK MY HEART
15 PIECE OF ME Britney Spears

Mr G falls from last week’s #8 to #12, perhaps demonstrating the limited attention span the Australian public will give a) novelty singles and b) Paul Mac; Chris Lilley can drown his sorrows in a Gold Logie nomination. Both Axle and Potato have exited the Top 15 (to #16 and #21, respectively), while Newton Faulkner (no, we don’t know who she/he/it/they is/are, either) is at #11 with a bullet.

Until next week, get your full chart fix at ARIA, and place your bets for how far Potato will have fallen within another seven days.

    Newton Faulkner is very pale.
HE also has ginger dreads. it is odd.
he was on Spicks and Specks last week and seemed likeable.
his album is unoffensive and includes a cover of Massive Attack’s Teardrop.

    this is all i know.
