Your Editor (ie: me) is making contact with you all after a long and painful week apart. Apologies for my silence, I caught cat AIDS earlier in the week and was bed-ridden and near death. It was very dramatic, but thankfully that time has passed and I am back and fighting fit.
Just in time, then, for Hell to begin. Yes, Big Brother 2008 is literally hours away from launching, and here at Defamer Australia HQ we couldn’t be more frightened/excited/depressed about what the next few months hold. Kyle and Jackie O on our television screen most nights of the week? MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU ABANDONED ME!
That said, the collection of bogans and racists due to enter the house seem somewhat interesting – we hope – and we’ll be praying for verbal fisticuffs and flashing before the first week is through.
If everything goes according to plan, we’ll be live blogging the launch of this season’s Big Brother. It’ll be glorious! Or we’ll all cry about the sad state of our lives and drink some special Kool-Aid!
