TomKat Seduces A New Hollywood Couple Into Their Dinner Dates/Scientology Screenings
Posted by Molly Friedman at 4:32 AM on March 8, 2008
Another day, another star lost to the more-popular-than-ever VIP club that is the Church of Scientology. But unlike Tom and Katie's previous predatory attacks on Jennifer Lopez and the Beckhams, this one really hurts. On Wednesday night, the Knights of Hubbard went on a double date with Oscar winner Forrest Whitaker and his wife Keisha, right on the heels of last Wednesday's double date with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith (long-term victims of TomKat's proselytizing ways). Savvy observers will recall that this isn't Whitaker's first brush with the wily ways of Scientologists; back in 1999, he spent months on end on the set of Battlefield Earth with John Travolta. So, the question is this -- does he have enough willpower left to resist yet another call from Xenu's sworn enemies?
The potential for Whitaker to sign up for the Hubbard Club becomes murkier upon re-reading his Oscar acceptance speech at last year's Awards. The infamously moving and teary speech was speckled with religious references, some vague and some direct:
"[I have a] desire to connect to everyone. To that thing inside of each of us, that light that I believe exists in all of us...it's a connection so strong, a connection so deep that we feel it and through our combined belief we can create a new reality...I want to thank...God, God who believes in the soul, and who's given me the moment in this lifetime that I will hopefully carry to the end of this lifetime, into the next lifetime."Oh dear. "A new reality"? "Into the next lifetime"? Shit. Scientologists believe in that whole "born again into the flesh of another body" thing, and that all those other silly religions are part of "an implanted false reality that to this very minute is used to control WOGS [non-Scientologists] on Earth." We're left with three words: RUN, Forrest, RUN.

"SHIT" to your beliefs too.

So let's see, the "you've only lived once theory" that you espouse is Scientology only? Not. Try a majority of the world's population. i.e. Hinduism, Buddisam Taoism and more. Do some homework.

I opened my email this morning to the words (Quote) ".......how many people in the entertainment industry are big believers in the Landmark Forum. by Mr-Busy". For heavens sake. The Landmark Forum and courses run by the Church of Scientology are not the same and are not connected in any way. The Landmark Forum is a course owned and delivered by Landmark Education. The Landmark Forum is delivered in over 50 countries and in at least 12 languages around the world. Scientology and Dianetics is completely different and teaches the complexities associated with Ronald L Hubbard. It would be a really GREAT IDEA for Journalists and Media Editors to take responsibility for who they are being and to responsibly report on Landmark Education and Scientology from their OWN experiences and not just the opinions of others. So what if someone doesn't like something. It doesn't give anyone the right to destroy something that is so good for the community. I have done the Landmark Forum and I have also participated in most of the various courses available through Landmark. No one had MADE ME do any of them. I have introduced the Landmark Forum to hundreds of people since i first participated in 2000. No one has MADE them do the Forum. Landmark Education and it's course The Landmark Forum is not a Cult.
Hey, maybe SCHOOL is a cult. The reason that most kids go to the particular school they go to is because a friend of their parents sent their kids there too, or perhaps the kids parents went there.......why don't you present this type of education as a CULT too. This would have about as much reasoning behind it as the reporting being done on Scientology and Landmark Education.
Go do the Landmark Forum yourselves. Participate with an open mind and leave your opinions behind you where they belong.

Why doesn't my local church have a celebrity center?
I want to join a religion that favors the wealthy.
Mr. Terryeo can you tell me more about these body thetans and super powers I've heard so much about.
If I sell My house can I afford to reach OT7?

Terryeo, I can understand you feel offended and perceive any criticism of Scientology to be an attack on your beliefs. Please understand that the beliefs are not the problem. The problem is the crime, ongoing abuse, and unethical behaviour encouraged by the policies of the Scientology organization.
If you don't know what I'm talking about please, please take a moment to watch this:

It seems to me that if the church or its members were guilty of something some prosecutor or law enforcement body would make at least some of those charges stick, wouldn't they?
You're not that gullible are you? Did you buy into the rumors or are you just knowingly spreading them?
Mr. John

Mr. Tempest, I'm quit sure your aware that some of these charges have stuck. Why do you defend a criminal organization?
In 1977 FBI raids on the Church properties uncovered what the full extent of what the Church called “Operation Snow White” the single largest infiltration of the United States government in history.[1] This led to the arrest and conviction of numerous high ranking Scientology officials including the wife of founder L. Ron. Hubbard in: United States vs. Mary Sue Hubbard et al., 493 F. Supp. 209 (D.D.C. 1979).
Their use of “E-meters” as some magic cure-all was the subject of a ruling in 1971 by a US District Court [2] that the Church of Scientology was guilty of practicing medicine without a license.
It's likely the only reason their getting their way now is due to continual infiltration of the government and harassment, bribery and extortion of officials.

Mr. John,
You're attacking a church because 30 years ago some of its top ranking officials were arrested?
And now you think they've infiltrated our government?
Weird!

I think Katie is a cutie. She should still use the name Katie and never change it to "Kate". She looks happy there. Maybe she's just a good actress? Not her reputation, but possible.

Maybe he finally got around to seeing Battlefield Earth and realized that he had the potential as a man-animal to beat the Psychlos by reading the Declaration of Independence and then reading the manual and learning to fly a fighter jet while wearing his caveman garb.
By the way, I can't recommend Battlefield Earth enough, especially if you're spectacularly stoned.

Katie doesn't look like she could proselytize her way out of a paper bag, so it's really just crazy Tom we have to worry about, and he is no match for Mrs. Whitaker. She looks angry enough to rip his head off and shit down his neck.
We can only hope.

From that acceptance speech it sounds like he's spiritually empty and yearning for answers-- exactly the kind of person the Co$ preys upon. How can anyone look at Tom Cruise these days and say "Now there's a well rounded, sane person that I would like to emulate"???
Hey Forrest, you are cordially invited to any Scientology Cash Extraction Center in the world March 15th to celebrate LRH's birthday.

@fembot:
I think Hubbard's birthday is actually the 12th. They're having a big celebration in Clearwater on the night of the 14th. From what I hear, Anonymous will picket Friday night at the Clearwater CO$. Then they will picket at Scientology centers around the world on the afternoon of the 15th.
