Estranged Ledger Family Members Open Up Once More: “Heath Fathered A Love Child!”
The big news this morning (well, if you are an idiot with limited interest in actual world affairs) is that Heath Ledger’s uncle, Haydn Ledger is telling media Heath may have fathered a child when he just a wee slip of a lad.
The late Australian actor’s uncle Haydn Ledger says Heath had a brief affair when he was a 17-year-old schoolboy.
The woman, then aged 25, reportedly discovered she was pregnant after their relationship had ended and she was living with another man at the time.
“There is a very real possibility that Heath was the father,” Mr Ledger, the brother of Ledger’s father Kim, has told News Limited.
Most people would be quite aware of Heath’s penchant for older ladies (see Lisa Zane, Heather Graham, Naomi Watts et al), and we’ve no doubt a spunky 17 year old Heath Ledger would be more than capable of seducing a 25 year old lady friend when the rest of his high school chums were busy squeezing their pimples and having saucy dreams about Tempany Deckert. As to whether the tale ends up being true, well, time will no doubt tell.
And, thanks to the likes of Haydn Ledger, the News Limited rags will probably keep us informed too. Why on earth is he spilling his guts to the papers about private family matters? From what we can tell in the stories we’ve read online, there’s no actual confirmation that Heath is the father of anyone other than Matilda, and this is all just wild speculation. It seems rather appalling, to be frank, and we can only imagine this kind of constant prattling to the press about his personal business would’ve horrified Heath. Michelle Cazzulino’s article about “celebrity deaths bringing out the worst” in people couldn’t be timelier.
Earlier this month, Kim Ledger called on his estranged brothers to stop commenting publicly on issues involving the late actor, including his will.

Read any bio out there on Heath. He wasn’t a “schoolboy” at 17. He had sat early for his exit exams (at age 16) and was already a working actor at 17.
I WISH the world would just let the man rest in PEACE!! I was inadvertently redirected to this article from a myspace blog — it’s impossible to avoid the gossip it seems. The world needs to leave the man alone and to leave his parents alone. It’s like people are just sitting around cooking this stuff up because the world wants more new Heath Ledger news… and there ISN’T any more news.
And if indeed his uncles are responsible for these “stories” (for the purpose of gaining attention, causing trouble, or whatever), then they should grow up, leave Heath’s GRIEVING PARENTS alone, and realize that they’re making a circus of his death! What next?? He was really an alien or a scientifically engineered robot from the future?
