Big Brother’s Emma Has Joined The Doorbitch Union!

Remember Emma Cornell from last year’s Big Brother? We know, we know – it’s strangely hard to recall the many amazing and in no way bland Dreamworld residents who molested our eye sockets on a nightly basis last year, but if you really, really strain yourself, you will probably faintly recollect a blonde catty young thing whose estranged father died during her time in the house but no one informed her of the fact (although some eviction night audience members tried their hardest) because they didn’t want to ruin her “experience” and the feverish media debate on ethics that followed.

Not ringing any bells? Well, perhaps you remember her post-eviction spread for Zoo Weekly? Yeah, that’s the one.

Moving on. In this fairly dull excuse to make reference to Krystal Forscutt’s gravity defying rack, we were tickled to note the following tidbit about Big Brother’s Emma and her latest career.

Meanwhile, once Australia couldn’t get enough of Big Brother bombshell Emma Cornell, and so party people who attended the Nudie Jeans party this week were surprised to see the blonde reality star manning the door at hip Sydney venue the Oxford Art Factory, rather than on the guest list.

From pin-up poser to public relations, Cornell is now working for an inner-city publicity firm co-ordinating the Nudie Jeans event, explaining her newfound “door bitch” status.

As former doorbitches ourselves, we heartily welcome Emma to the Australian Doorbitch Union (no membership benefits, really, except sometimes people let you into gigs for free and the bar staff of various venues will occasionally fling a free shot or two your way). We can’t think of a more appropriate way for her to put her sour judgmental personality to work.

(Although, that said, we have become chums with a few Big Brother employees and they continually insist that Emma was actually “alright” if you got to know her, and in fact it was Jamie the Nerd who should have earned the title Most Heinous Housemate Ever. Hmmmm….)
