Behold! ‘The Moment Of Truth!’ Destroyer Of Lives!
After billing The Moment of Truth as a brilliant Frankenshow combining the most intriguing aspects of F. Lee Bailey’s Lie Detector, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and Cheaters, the culmination of a life’s work for Fox’s President of Apocalypse-Expediting Alternative Entertainments Mike Darnell failed to really deliver on its life-destroying promise. Not even a desperate casting stunt that replaced the show’s evil robot voice with a string of celebrity she-bots (Small Wonder, Rosie from The Jetsons, Richie Rich’s Irona) managed to really hook viewers.
After billing But now the gloves are off: With the season drawing to a close, producers claim to “have saved the worst for last.” In a promo all but guaranteeing a life-evisceration in-the-round, ominous words like “shocking,” “destroys,” and “housewife” are casually tossed about. Also featured: frequent cutaways to the unlucky husband, whose very soul appears to be draining right before our eyes with every question, as if his entire being was squeezed through a citrus presser. Will lives be destroyed? Tune in and see! (Or spend a quality hour with your spouse explaining how badly you’ve always wanted to bang their best friend and/or accidentally blew some of the nest egg on a coke habit, and watch the far-more-entertaining 60-second web recap instead.)

i have been watching this show and i cant belive that it is acctualy still on air,, it is plainly obvious that the show is riged. i mean honestly it would be so easy to win the $500.000.00 BUT u cant becouse it is done useing a lie detector and as ANYONE in any leagal profesion will explain, a lie dector is not %100 accurect. and ontop of that some of the questions you cant realy answer a true or false becouse for example tonights $200.000.00 question was have you ever slept with someone to better your job,, now what if you in the past did have sex with your partner the night before a big meating or sumthing that will affect your job and get u a promotion, and you felt that haveing sex with your partner that night would help you relax and less stressed about the big day tomorow,, but in you mind u are thinking that the question is “have u ever had sex with someone to better your job (as in your boss or someone that will make it posible to garinty a promotion)” now you wont realy be able to answer it yes i have or no i havnt becouse the question is to broad it is not a spacific question that you can give a defenet ys no answer to, so ofcorse it will be picked up as a false and its game over..
now all that aside, anuther thing that makes this show unbeliveable and a tottal fake is that, there is absolutly no way of knowing if the show is cheating or not for the simple fact that the show is the one that says if you are telling the truth or not, there is nothing stoping them from lieing to everyone and have the person loose the game and get no cash, this happens when the person is continueing to play on for bigger money. the show decieds that they have got enuff answers out of you and has ruind all your relationships with freinds and family from asking you question that are very personal. once they have gotten enuff air time out of the conestent they just ask a question that is extramly personal and (i belive) when you answer it even if you are telling the truth they do the “that anser is FALSE” and it is game over u loose go away with no money and a ruind life, next sucker opps i mean contestent please.
