Attention Australian Madge Fans - Ms Ciccone Is Heading To Oz!

We are pleased and excited to learn that the Queen of Pop (sorry, Kylie) is apparently planning on heading Down Under for the first time in 15 years, deciding to add Australia to the list of countries she'll be performing live in during her upcoming world tour. Thank god!
The London-based superstar has revealed she would like to perform Down Under as part of her 2008-09 world tour. Her only visit to Melbourne was for the Girlie Show tour in November 1993. Madonna, 50 this year, has been criticised by fans for snubbing Australia on her past three world tours.
But Madonna told the Sunday Herald Sun, in an exclusive interview, that she was ready to return. "It's been a while. It's the least I can do," she said. Promoter Michael Chugg confirmed that Madonna's 2008-09 world tour plan - including Australia - "will happen".
"It is being talked about and there is a promoter trying to put it together," he said.
Well, being talked about isn't quite the same as hearing the Australian tour has been locked in, but it's something. Let us take what we can get, eh?

Please visit us, Esther! I was too young to appreciate the full brilliance of the Girlie Show, the mostly naked lady sliding down a pole kind of traumatised my 14 year old mind that had already been revolted by a shirtless Peter Andre. But I'm ready now! And yeah, leave out Peter Andre this time, and steer clear of anyone associated with Idol for your opening act. Thanks!
