A lawyer for Andrew Koenig, aka Growing Pain's Richard Milhous "Boner" Stabone, pleaded in Pasadena court today on behalf of their client, who was detained by police for ten hours on New Year's Day for jumping in front of a China-themed Rose Parade float holding a sign that said "China: Free Burma." Interesting Boner fun facts: While his fictional father was Sylvester Stabone, Andrew's real father is Walter Koenig, aka Star Trek's Lt. Pavel Chekov! [Pasadena Weekly]

How is it that no one has mentioned that he also played the Joker in the fan film classic "Batman: Dead End." I remember seeing it when it first came onto the internets back in 2003, and my mind was blown that the skinny, heroin'd-out 'freak Joker' was Boner from 'Growing Pains.' RIP Heath (you made me cry in 'I'm Not There') but the Boner's Joker might still be my favorite.

Burma is a big concern to Walter Koenig too, it's on his website. At first I blanked on who Chekov was, I thought it was Zulu for a second, then DeForest Kelley, we lost him didn't we. Damn shame. Anyway, I'm happy to know that Boner and Chekov are related.
