Your Worrying Major-Newspaper-Enabled Web Discussion Of The Week
These days, in this heady “new media” world, it’s par for the course for major newspapers’ online portals to get “jiggy” with things like message boards, blogs and discussions pages – it makes for a rich and vibrant online community.
Over at our friends The Sun, we’re used to seeing discussions like (and we’re paraphrasing), “Has Pete Doherty Gone Too Far?” and “What Do You Think Of Jordan’s New Boobs?”
So, you can imagine our unease when one of this week’s daily discussions was this:

And yes, you could argue that it’s not a huge jump from Pete Doherty to capital punishment, but still, it’s a bit rough as far as ‘light coffee break browsing’ is concerned, isn’t it? How about something like “Puppies Or Kittens: Which Are Cuter”?
Everyone can enjoy that!
