· It was all but inevitable: Ice Road Truckers is going to be adapted into a feature, probably to star The Rock as the slip-sliding-big-rig-drivingest badass the Canadian tundra has ever seen.

Martha's puzzling Mid-Atlantic speech is a continual source of enjoyment. My favorites: when she pronounces herbs HER-bs over annunciating the H sound. The other would have to be buffet which she pronounces BOO-FAY. None of this makes much sense since Martha wasn't a boarding school or finishing school graduate, having been raised in Jersey by a polish mum.

I'm just going to assume Ice Road Truckers feature will be post apocalyptic-climate change and will have a Mad Max feel to it.
Throw in The Rock, Billy Zane and Michele Rodriguez and boy we have a winner.

The Lou Reed thing does less than nothing for Martha, but when Abigail name-drops Pennsylvania, Martha gasps like a school girl.
Apparently, Pennsylvania's still got some serious game.
