Agreed. I was inside Parliament House for the moment this morning and it was very moving. Lots of smiles, tears and celebration.

John Butler arrived unannounced and started singing with his guitar. Great day.

It was incredibly awesome and just the simple way he kept saying sorry was actually quite moving. What a wonderful thing that it’s finally happened.

It really is a great day. Nice work by the new government.

I actually feel kind of proud to be Australian for the first time in a long while - no real urge to wear our flag as a cape yet, but it's a start.
