This video was clearly made for a select audience, that is people who are already Scientologists and have taken Scientology classes and understand the nomenclature and what it means.

I do think if you realize that the intended audience of the video are people who are already scientologists, it changes things a little–he isn’t just rambling about scientology for no reason and trying to convince people to become scientologists–he’s trying to reassure scientologists that they are right and that they should do more.
That’s just the devil’s advocate in me, of course. I really do think this is a cult and that the man is crazy. This video isn’t necessarily proof of it, when you consider it’s intended audience. However, it doesn’t do anything but hurt him and his “cause”.
I truly feel badly for the people who are roped in by this makeshift religion.

Wow, what happened to Tom Cruise? I used to be a fan. What is it at the core -some weakness?- of a person that drives him to a “religion”? He says you’re either in or out” and ” if I cannot get you in the playing field I take you out the game altogether” or something like that. That is crazy, scary stuff right there. And what is it that about “spectators” and his contempt for them? They’re the ones who go and see your movies, who made you rich! I don’t agree about us not understanding what he says because we are not the scientologists this gibberish was intended for- being an outsider is good, meaning you have some healthy distance to assess what is going on.
And Tom wants to rule the world from above. That kind of wish does not a good ruler make.
