At this point in history it’s a privilage to call yourself a Human Being. A term Tom Cruise and the rest of the muckity mucks at the CoS should re-familiarize themselves with.
I am now wondering between Tom Cruise and David Miscavige, which of them is Pinky and which of them is The Brain.

What’s with this guy? All kinds of people help others to the best of their ability, all kinds of people see clearly what the realities are… but most people do it quietly and without the pretension that accompanies this guy. Does he think he invented good works, service, volunteering, helping others? Does he think he and his kind are the only ones who can do things? It might be new to him but humanity has been going on for centuries. He thinks he sees everything more clearly than the next guy. Good for him. I see pretty clearly as well. And, what I see is a guy in love with the sound of his own voice and the ego to think he knows the only effective modus operandi on the planet. I respectfully disagree. There are all kinds of different ways to enlightenment. Scientology may or may not be one of them. But to suggest that it is the only way to enlightenment is to isolate one’s self and to further divisiveness rather than to be inclusive.

He can’t even form a coherent sentence! Authorities on the mind!?! How would he know – his has already been blown! Give this man a script STAT – its the only way he will be able to make sense to other rational human beings. I once had to deal with a schizophrenic client and he could at least form an entire rational thought! If this is what Scientology does to get people off drugs – I think they’d be better off on drugs – they’ll be high but at least they’ll have some modicum of sanity and a chance to regain their mental capacity – Scientology is mind-control and BIG Business! We should be looking at their financials – never mind their whacked-out ideas.

He said, “you’re in, or you’re out”, “do it”, that he would stop and help someone in a car wreck because “scientologists are the only ones who can” (forget the fire department or paramedics), and that scientologists are “authorities”.
Do you have to go to some sort of technical college to become a scientologist or something? Do you need a PHD in 3 different disciplines? Oh thats right, you have to be an actor. Because playing a doctor in a movie makes you an authority on drug addiction and heart transplants.

Plus they had Mission Impossible music and fire and space pictures and EVERYTHING. I just don’t understand all the cynicism…
So this is what unfettered wealth and surrounding oneself with sycophants does to a person’s soul. Fascinating. You gotta hand it to him, though — he certainly does believe what he’s saying. The capacity for self-delusion is, I think, the most interesting thing about all of this. I learned long ago from some very wise people that those who are most brainwashed are those who brook no critique and show no doubt. Too bad Tom is in too deep at this point to ever understand that.
