Online Fest Gives Obscenely Wealthy Actresses Exciting Filmmaking Opportunities

Sure, we could all just sit around and gripe about the sorry state of affairs for women writers, directors, producers, and studio execs in 2007 Hollywood, but Glamour magazine, in conjunction with Clinique Happy (“So that you might find the man that will one day make you Happy!”™), have actually done something about it. The concept is simple: Three Hollywood actresses with directing aspirations. Three personal stories sent in by fashion magazine readers. And three unforgettable mini-movies, helmed by those very actresses, based on those very stories. You’ll have to wait until October 15 to view them, but we’re extremely hopeful that Glamour Reel Moments is a sign of far brighter things ahead for inexplicably successful actresses who always wanted to direct.
