From the who-really-gives-a-shit file comes news that wannabe superstar Tyler Atkins - the surfie bum and alleged t-shirt designer - has dumped Paris Hilton for supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

He told Kyle & Jackie O on 2Day FM last week in Sydney that he met someone new while in New York.

"I only met her (Paris) about two weeks ago and we've hung out a lot," Ty says. "We were hanging out but I recently just went to New York and I sort of met this girl over there, who is a pretty big supermodel."

When quizzed over the identity of his new squeeze, Ty says he's not allowed to say who she is, but conceded the model's name was similar to that of an animal that leaps through the air.

The 21-year-old was also proud to announce on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on 2Day FM that he practises safe sex after being questioned on his knowledge of Paris having herpes.

"I wear condoms, mate. I'm smart like that," Ty says.

Yeah, "smart". That's the word we were looking for. Also, "publicity-whore" and "self-absorbed twat" work well.
