Memo to esteemed members of the paparazzi everywhere — if you want a money shot, hang out at Krispy Kreme.

Because, if gossip magazines have taught us anything… it’s that women of childbearing age, and celebrities in particular, who have a cravings for dough and sugar after suffering though stale cheese biscuits and nuts on a Qantas domestic flight, must be carrying a bun in the oven, right?

Within minutes of touching down in Sydney last night, US songbird Christina Aguilera was satisfying a craving for glazed doughnuts – adding fuel to speculation she may be pregnant with her first child.

The star’s stretch limousine was forced to make an emergency pit stop at the Krispy Kreme store at Sydney airport moments after her plane flew in from Brisbane.

Since we’re in the business of starting rumours, here’s one – a certain Sydney newsreader was spotted eating a chocolate donut, WITH SPRINKLES – at 9.05am.

We’ll leave you to make your own rash assumptions about that….
