In truth, the news of this morning's Lindsay Lohan arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of cocaine-laden pants should be a sombre occasion, one where we're forced to reflect upon how fame can corrupt even the seemingly most stable of celebrities. But when someone has gone through the trouble of assembling a montage of Lohan mugshots, headlines from breaking media reports, pictures from the actress's less-troubled days, and images of perhaps the most beloved of all Muppets, then set the entire package to Chuck Mangione's "Feels So Good," how can our spirits not be lifted, even briefly, in this dark time? Even though we know better by now, the combination of Beaker's joyous presence and Mangione's soothing trumpet makes us thing that everything's going to be OK.
